The Church as the Unfaithful Spouse -
Part III(outline
of topics) |
-
Hebrew New
Covenant vs. Pagan Gentile Christianity (Unfaithful Spouse - Part III) -
- What the Hebrews created was a way of Life that
created the foundational mindset that enables ones vital energies to be
channeled back into one’s inner Source. Spiritual requirements - taking
captive every thought to Christ, how can we be accountable for every idle
word? The requirements from Scripture – viewed as religious extremism and
constraint.
- The Source of Life and the Soul. The bio-energy upon
which our thoughts, consciousness and life-force ride, can be moved between
the polarities either external to us through nature, or internal.
Foundational principle of the teachings of the Two Ways - energy bled off
into the world or focused within (broad way or Narrow Path)
- Sacred Hebrew rituals and symbols caused the
consciousness to transcend the bridge between the outer world and the
Kingdom within.
- The emphasis on Marriage, family and community - the
foundation of genuine religion. Understanding how the presence of other people invoke the vibration they
represent within our own mind and being.
- Multi-dimensional language of the original Scriptures.
True spiritual depth was lost when sacred writings were translated into the
Hebrew of the masses, the translation into Greek made it merely a revelation
of the lesser mysteries, and when translated from Greek into the spiritual
dead English language, the Scriptures retained little more than a moral code
by which the multitude of believers could shape their lives. The result is
that the scriptures, being devoid of their multidimensional essence, have
lost their power to invoke the inner dimensions of man’s spiritual nature.
- Because of the translations occurring to Scripture,
the form of "Christianity" embraced by the Greeks were defective from the
very beginning. The Philosophers were able to contemplate the Mysteries of
God but they lacked a God-centered culture and could not attain the level of
the Hebrews, and their holy men were found only in little schools where a
master taught his disciples.
=Section Link: "Even today, though our biblical scholars do not
possess the spiritual depth to comprehend the far reaching implications of the
true New Covenant foundation..."
- Misconceptions from the Dead-Sea Scrolls - carnal man
is incapable of comprehending the true place of Jesus in the history of
mankind. The true nature of Jesus in relation to ourselves and the purpose
of Creation (first begotten Son of God, Anointed by God). How did the
disciples and followers of Jesus perceive him and what did he teach ("a man
who was approved by God " Acts 2:22)? Throughout the Scriptures Jesus is
never referred to as god. If Jesus were god he would never have prayed to
the Father, or called the disciples his brothers (Matthew 26:39, John 20:17,
John 17:21-23). If Jesus was co-equal with God, how could he say that God
was greater than he? (John 14:28-31)
- At-One with God – understanding the reality of these
words (Christ, Son of God – harmonizing principle that merges the two
paradoxical opposites into Oneness)
- The Cosmic design - the Divine Pattern, Offspring of God and the Process
of development and growth (physical and spiritual). Returning to the Source
of Being. Experiential Knowledge, picking up our Cross - Capturing every
thought to Christ. Limitations of Carnal Man.
- How Jesus became the Son of God. Nature of the Soul -
man's origin and the Pre-Existent Soul, Reincarnation. True Prophet, Logos.
Christian downfall in declaring Jesus to be God, without comprehending the
process by which he became At-One with the Son of God. Vibration of
"Yeshua" (vibration of mind which is necessary for the Son of God to be
At-One with the believer).
- Scriptures as spiritual forms, allegories and
patterns, revealing the spiritual reality within us.
=Section Link: "The disciples and original Messianic Jewish
followers of Christ became known as Ebionites..."
- Ebionite-Essenes – original Messianic Jewish followers
of Christ, maintained themselves in the purity of the Word. To be poor in
relation to the thinking, doctrines and things of the world. Philosophies of
this world - an anchor to the soul.
- Sabbath Observance - symbolism of the number 7.
Spiritual Jew (free from the constraints of the Law) and the Carnal Jew
(slaves to the god of this world). Jesus did not abolish the Law. The Spiritual meaning of the Law, living in accordance
with God’s Commandments, the revelations of the Mysteries of God as
demonstrated in the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
- Matt 19:21 KJV - Belief, faith, and words will not
"save". We must relinquish any hold the things of this world have upon us,
only then will we be able to follow in the footsteps of the Lord. The Scriptures teach that transformation or birth must
occur, not that we can continue in sin and live as we please.
- The case against the doctrine of the Trinity -
Scriptural and historical affirmation that Jesus became the Son of God,
through fulfilling the Law.
- From a New Covenant perspective, sinners are turned
out of The Way, Christians who continue to sin will be held more accountable
than those who have never heard the Gospel. Scripture confirms that man has
the capacity to live a God centered life, free from sin.
- The greater number of Gentile converts condemned the
faithful Messianic Jewish believers as heretics and re-established their old
Pagan manner of thinking, under the genuine teachings of Jesus. Government
control of religion.
=Section Link: "Knowing these facts to be true from an
historical perspective..."
- Examining the origin of Christian beliefs: Constantine, Justinian,
Luther, Darwin, and the modern church. Scriptural quotations from the
writers before the first century, that are no longer in our Bible today. The limited/carnal mind cannot perceive the Mysteries
of God, nor comprehend his Will – turning to manmade doctrines and Pagan
lifestyles.
- The Bridegroom of Scripture, Marriage, Birth, and Knowing God – seeking
and immersing ourselves within Genuine Truth.
- The nature of Life and the conditions of our birth.
What we must overcome, the Journey of the Soul. Reincarnation and the
Pre-Existence of the Soul, in early Christianity. Examining John 9 - the
account of the blind man - why did Jesus not rebuke the disciples for
suggesting that a man could sin before birth?
- Integrity of the Scriptures. Corruption occurred when
the Gospel message was placed in the environment of an alien culture and
mindset of the Pagan Gentile converts.
- The foundational mindset that is essential to the very
form and constitution of the Word – becoming the “good-ground.” Parable of
the Sower and the Seed (the wayside, the thorns, and the rocks – purifying
the mind and body). The Word of God is not universal to any and all
environments, as modern Christians believe.
- The Nature of our reality in this realm, beyond the
three-dimensional Darwinistic perception of life. The Inner Temple of Man
and the Kingdom of God – overcoming division, the transformational destiny
of man.
- Why did Jesus speak in Parables to the masses? Gnostic
Christian and the entry-level believer. The necessity of Works, action.
Seeking the Kingdom Within - the knowledge and spiritual transforming power
of the Tree of Life. Allegory of the Book of Revelations - the Robe of
Spiritual Union and Perfection - who are those outside the "gates", the
"outer darkness".
- Gnosis and experiential knowledge. The inner spiritual
reality of man.
=Section Link: "If, then, we are to experience the Revelation
of the Lord..."
- Christianity turned into a redemptive religion.
Worshiping Jesus as god.
- Spiritual vs. Physical/Carnal – Contrast in the traditions and
beliefs between the Hebrews and the Pagan Gentiles. Downfall of modern
Christianity (saved by belief, man-made doctrines).
- Enlightened Pagans of the Mystery Religions that
understood the symbols and inner meaning of the writings of the
philosophers. "Christians" before Jesus.
- The reason for the success of the Hebrews - a culture,
language, sacred writings, and a way of life with its whole focus on
bringing man into unity with God.
- The eventual fall of the Gentile Church and the
adoption of Pagan Doctrines.
- The faith of Paul - faith in the Laws. What Jesus
taught is that his followers must adhere to, practice, and keep the Law in
accordance with higher standards.
- Standard of the Essenes vs. the Sadducees and
Pharisees. Spiritual vs. Physical observance of the Law. Purification of the
flesh and the living in accordance with the Law in order to receive the
spirit.
- "Ye are gods" - Scripture quotes from the First
Century Church Fathers that are no longer in the Bible today or have been
altered from their original form. Like Eve, each of us is tempted by the
serpent, and, like Esau, we surrender our birthright and make ourselves
mortal, and bring death upon ourselves.
- Parable of the Prodigal Son, returning to the Father.
Man's Ultimate Destiny.
